The Best Acoustic Set Ever
...From back when Avril was The Best Ever...
"Ground Beef Control To Major Nelson Upgrade."
Twice as big as before at Avril-Media, and thrice as nice. The set is longer because the pre-song interviews originally aired are now included. This video is big and rings true.
The old files sound like they were recorded under water. Now they shine through clear and clean.
Most of it used to go like that...

And remember this is The Old Avril so she actually plays her old guitar throughout. Now she has a collection of 50 guitars but never uses one live except as a prop (on "He Wasnt"). And as for playing piano and drums? "That is so last decade. But I do take a mid-show nap on the piano-hoodie."
Not only does Av play her guitar for real here, she does so on some real good tunes. She delivers the goods to the listener by serving the songs. Now her singing is all about, "Look at me -- I can sing!" ...Always could. Except even better. For back then it was about what matters -- the song. Back when Av used to be the greatest singer of all time. (May She Rock In Peace.)
And back in the spring of 2004, Av truly used The Force of Acoustic Pop-Rock. For it was then that she made her only-ever acoustic tour. Granted these were short promo-shows, but they showed she could oh so swing the wood. Along with the help of the best musician she has ever had at her side.
Avril and Evan did a month-long-plus, mall-tour of Canada and America... Remember when The Old Avril used to dare to tour The States? Yeah, those were the days, my friend.
Well Old Av & Ev got it down till they brought it down, to lay it down at AOL for all-times sake.

Avril: Oh my God! I just broke up with my boyfriend, and let me just say its just so heartbreaking. This is how I did it: I took him to the food court located on the 3rd floor, where you can find the Wendys and McDonalds, and let me just say "Im lovin it"! (Loud screams!)

Avril: Duh . . . Buy her an Orange Julius located on the 3rd floor and tell her its over. Youre such a sk8ter boi, overweight wawa in the back! Ok, kids, back to the music. LETS ROCK (Kicks into Complicated) . . . .
