TY 4P, BTW... I obviously couldn't bring myself to post at the time. I was already reeling from her dropping the bomb on France @ Victoires, the not so 'winning!' worst perf of her career. Then Av continued on to Britain, where she laid this beatdown on Christna, then the most beatdown on artist in the entire world.
This intv comes following the week after Christina's falling down at the Grammys, the week after her screwing up the US National Anthem at the Super Bowl. This all coming at the start of a new year follwing Christina's worst year ever, where her latest album and movie debut stiffed, and her concert tour was canceled for bad sales. Thus, 'Floptina.'
The world was so laughing at Christina, so Av just has to pile on. All in the name of good promo!
'Pulling a Christina!' Ha! Meet the new Avril, same as the old Avril, but so much meaner.
Fine. She drenches up some likely several-years-old story of Christina's private dis of Avril (they have both been going to award shows and Hollywood parties since 2002, so you figure it out when they were likely to have first met - I say the 2002 VMA's). But here Av takes a public dump on Christina, to mock her, to dis her, to take revenge, and to get headlines around the world, which she so did, at a time when the world wanted as many Christina takes downs as possible, and was mostly ignoring Av's comeback. Av goes for the meanest instincts of the most common basest denominators in the general public at large, and hits a home run. Whatever.
Except she was being such a hypocrite. This was supposedly the new, 'mature,' nicer Avril. I call BS!
Is it no wonder two weeks after this interview Christina continued on with her breakdown, getting arrested for public intoxication?

I was so angry at the time of this interview, I offered to resign at Avril-Media. Bonez talked me out of it. I didn't post for days here. I probably should have continued to stay away though, considering the third strike, the third bomb, the stinker that is GL was coming next.
Can I hear a 'Flopvril'?
Now Av posted this interview on her website a week later, but someone edited out the part about Christina. I was so relieved. And respectful of Av having second thoughts. If she had not edited it, I would have been so Adios!
Why do I say hypocrite? Remember this: Interview on Today Australia [01.24.2011] at A-M (or youtube here) @ 3:15, Avril is asked specifically about Christina. And she said this:
'I definitely don't view it as a competition. We all end up helping each other.... We support each other, really.'
O RLY?
